January 2022

We’ve moved into our new lab in S976 Scaife Hall!  Come visit our new more spacious lab!

September 2021

Corry’s K01 Application, The Role of MCP-1 in Tubular-to-Glomerular Crosstalk in Proteinuric Kidney Disease, was funded!  He will be examining how MCP-1 is involved in glomerular diseases.

November 2020

Corry won a Young Investigator Award and presented his research on HIF-1alpha at the ASN Basic Research Forum for Emerging Scientists!

Rod presented the lab’s work at University of Toledo Department of Medicine Research Grand Rounds on September 24, 2020.  Many thanks to Dr Rujun Gong for extending the invitation and for the opportunity!

Our work in Nrf2 in proteinuric CKD was accepted for publication in Kidney International!  This is in addition to a manuscript we recently published on super-resolution ultrasound in AKI.

Check out this custom made retirement gift for the great Jamie Johnston– nephrologist, teacher, mentor, and fan of anime.  Somehow Rod made it on this – can you spot him?
